Great Plains Counseling Center (GPCC) has been serving the needs of Bellevue, Neb. and surrounding communities since 1989.  A vast majority of our clients come to us through direct referral – either from past clients that have found success with us, or from other professionals in the community who trust our practice to provide consistent and professional care for their patients, clients, or employees.

  Clients come to GPCC for a variety of reasons.  Often, its is because they feel they have reached limits in knowing what they can do to help themselves or their relationship feel better. It may be a tough decision to start counseling.  It takes courage to do something different, but the thought of continuing to “do more of the same thing” and achieving the same results can be a powerful motivator.

• How Does Counseling Work?
  Counselors can provide strategies, structure, and support to achieve changes.  We often do that by building on your past successes and current strengths.

• Becoming Your Best Self is an Important Investment
  Counseling is a way to cultivate a hopeful, healthy part of you.  People tell themselves, “It will be embarrassing”, “It will be expensive”, or “I can do this myself”.  However, your desire to change is healthy and proactive.  Using the tools, experience, structure, and support that we can provide simply makes change easier. Your counselor is a partner in your success.  Counseling is a commitment to your own joy, worth, and growth.

• How Much Does it Cost?
  Our fees range from $130.00 to $180.00 per 50 minute session. Sessions are often covered services under your health insurance plan. Check with your benefits administrator, or call your insurance company’s 800# for more information.
